Episode 19. Almost twenty years after it was announced, we're finally watching Artemis Fowl! This new Disney+ movie is based on the young adult sci-fi/fantasy books by Eoin Colfer, which debuted when we were kids way back in 2001. Artemis is a twelve-year-old genius with a scientific mind, but when his rich father is kidnapped, he has to face that the culprit is someone he would never consider… a fairy? He realizes that his father has been using folk tales to prepare him to take on the family legacy as the only human protectors of the fairy world's secrets. A rogue fairy believes that his father possesses a stolen magical artifact, and Artemis has to team up with a cast of fantastical creatures to save his father and keep both worlds safe.
