200 giorni fa il 4 gennaio del 2021 ho iniziato questa avventura dei miei tre minuti grezzi. Avventura iniziata perché volevo mettermi alla prova, volevo vedere se riuscivo a accendere il microfono e parlare senza prepararmi i miei canonici testi, perché io di solito quando faccio i podcast mi scrivo tutto, persino i respiri che devo prendere, il modo in cui parlo, le musiche, i suoni, e poi ripuliscono l'audio,cerco di ripulirlo al meglio delle mie capacità tecniche, che sono molto limitate. Comunque il 4 gennaio, una fredda mattina d'inverno, Cagliari in zona rossa, lockdown, non si poteva uscire, non si poteva fare niente, iniziai questa avventura. Ho riascoltato la puntata numero uno del 4 gennaio e mi sono resa conto che anche mentre registrava non avevo ancora nemmeno deciso come chiamare questo podcast, e pensavo addirittura di farlo di cinque minuti. Ma ci pensate? Già impiego una vita a fare questi tre minuti, cinque minuti avrà impiegato tutta la giornata, vi spiego perché. Quello che non sapete è che dietro le quinte impiego moltissimo tempo però a elaborare questi miei tre minuti, perché va be', li pubblico su Spreaker, e anche questo non è che impieghi tanto, poi però mi è venuto in mente di fare la trascrizione del testo, così che il testo abbia più visibilità, ma anche così che le persone possano leggersi il testo, la trascrizione dura un pochino di tempo, il testo trascritto poi lo traduco in inglese perchè pensavo di far godere dei miei tre minuti grezzi anche gli amici che ho in giro per il mondo e che non parlano l'italiano e che a volte mi dicono, Cristina ma io il tuo podcast giornaliero lo vorrei tanto ascoltare, ma io non parlo l'italiano, come faccio? Ecco, la traduzione non dura tantissimo, quello che dura abbastanza sono tutti i passaggi che devo fare per trasformare poi una traduzione di un testo in Word in una sottotitolatura. Quindi, mi devo creare una specie di video, e su questo video mettere la mia voce, sotto la voce, in corrispondenza delle parole, devo mettere le frasi scritte in inglese. Quindi se per registrare i miei tre minuti impiego esattamente tre minuti, per caricare una puntata del mio podcast in italiano e in inglese con i sottotitoli impiego quasi due ore, quasi due ore al giorno, che se ci penso mi viene da piangere, ma come sono arrivata a tanto? Eppure lo faccio volentieri. Perché mi arrivano sempre nuovi messaggi da persone che non conoscevo e che hanno iniziato ad ascoltarmi in diverse lingue. Niente, mi rendono felice. It is true that I turn on the microphone and speak for three minutes without text, so it takes me exactly three minutes to record those three minutes. What you don't know is that behind the scenes I take a lot of time to process these three minutes of mine, because okay, I publish them on Spreaker, and even this doesn't take long, but then I had the idea of doing the transcription of the text, so that the text has more visibility, but also so that people can read the text, the transcription takes a little time, the transcribed text then I translate it into English because I thought I would also want my three raw minutes to be enjoyed by the friends that I have around the world who do not speak Italian and who sometimes tell me, Cristina I would like to listen to your daily podcast, but I don't speak Italian, how can I? Here, the translation doesn’t take too long, what takes long are all the steps I have to do to then transform the translation of a text in Word into a subtitling.
