Sono quasi arrivata alla fine e ancora questa serie coreana, in onda su Netflix, non riesce a convincermi, nonostante la cura per le belle scenografie.

'Squid Game' è una nuova serie televisiva coreana messa in onda da Netflix, e io mi sono lasciata convincere a guardarla dopo che mi hanno assicurato è fantastica, bellissima. Non vi preoccupate se ancora non l'avete vista e se avete intenzione di guardarla perché non riveleranno nessun dettaglio della trama, anche perché non c'è trama. È questa la cosa che un po' mi fa arrabbiare: siamo arrivati alla quinta puntata, la sesta puntata ce ne mancano un paio per finire la serie, ho già visto sulle riviste specializzate che stanno già lavorando alla seconda serie, ma non è questo il punto. Allora, iniziamo dall'inizio. Dal punto di vista visivo è molto bella, già la sigla, il modo in cui le scritte dei titoli diventano oggetto, che poi non è che... io non conosco il coreano, però è sicuramente dal punto di vista visivo molto bella, e anche alcune scenografie, all'interno poi della serie, ricordano videogiochi come Monument Valley, molto bella molto curata in tutti i dettagli, in tutti particolari. Il problema è che secondo me non c'è una trama, è un po' come i videogiochi spara-tutto. Ripeto, non vi sto rivelando nessun dettaglio della trama quando dico che è un po' come Hunger Games: la gente va là e si ammazza. Ehi non è che succeda molto altro, è una una litania di gente che muore ammazzata in vari modi, a volte anche con dettagli gratuitamente violenti, troppo forti per i miei gusti, infatti trascorro metà del tempo che passiamo a guardarlo con le mani davanti agli occhi perché leggo solo i sottotitoli e non guardo, non voglio vedere quello che succede sullo schermo. Sì, sono un po' delusa. Ripeto, ancora non ho finito di guardare e quindi magari nelle ultime puntate ci sarà un colpo di coda e improvvisamente salterà fuori la trama, però io finora di trama non ne ho visto. Per me è più che altro 'in quanti modi diversi possiamo far vedere qualcosa di brutto'. Sinceramente la cosa non mi interessa più di tanto però, ripeto, continua a guardarla. Ci sono degli attori molto bravi, molto belli, molto interessanti, molto affascinanti. Sì va bè continua continuerò a vedere le ultime puntate che mi restano da guardare poi non lo so se ne riparleremo, dubito perché ripeto non ho troppa fiducia che diventi improvvisamente bella, interessante da vedere.

So let's start from the beginning. From the visual point of view it is very beautiful, already the credits, the way in which the writings of the titles become objects... I do not know Korean, but it is certainly from the visual point of view very beautiful, and also some scenographies, in the series, recall video games such as Monument Valley, very beautiful, very accurate in all details, in all details. The problem is that in my opinion there is no plot, it is a bit like shooter video games. Again, I'm not giving you any plot details when I say it's a bit like The Hunger Games: people go there and people kill. Hey, it's not that much else that happens, it's a litany of people who die killed in various ways, sometimes even with freely graphic details, too strong for my taste, in fact I spend half the time looking at it with my hands in front of the eyes because I only read the subtitles and I don't look, I don't want to see what happens on screen. Yes, I'm a little disappointed. I repeat, I have not finished watching yet and so maybe in the last episodes there will be a backlash and suddenly the plot will jump out, but so far I have not seen any plot. For me, it's more like 'how many different ways can we show something bad'. Honestly, I don't care that much but, I repeat, I'll keep watching. There are some very good actors, very beautiful, very interesting, very fascinating. Anyway, I will continue watching the last episodes that remain for me to watch then I do not know if we will talk about it again, I doubt because I repeat I am not too confident that it will suddenly become beautiful, interesting to see.
