Description

Many people long for more love in the world. But love, as Jesus said, starts closer than we think; it starts with ourselves. In today’s heartfelt episode, Stephen Schlabach explains that you can’t love others well if you haven’t received love for yourself.
Referencing Jesus’ words in Mark 12:30–31, we see that love flows from God to us, and then through us to others. But often, we short-circuit that flow because of deep-rooted self-criticism, shame, or unworthiness. Today’s message brings healing to that mindset, urging us to accept the truth: You are made in the image of God. You are loved. You are valuable.
Stephen encourages listeners to stop being their own harshest critic and instead embrace the grace and love already given by God. When you truly receive this love, it will overflow naturally to those around you, and your life will radiate compassion, patience, and joy.
Key Themes: Self-love, grace, emotional healing, love in action, Jesus’ commandment.
Scripture Focus: Mark 12:30–31
Challenge: Accept your worth in God’s eyes. Stop the inner critic, and start the inner healing.
And remember, “Be The Light.”
