Nnamdi Anyafo joined Rangers International of Enugu as a teenager within three years he had won the Cup Winners Cup and played at the AFCON in 1978. His duel with Segun Odegbami of IICC Shooting Stars in the 1977 Cup Winners Cup semi-final made him famous. He resides in North Carolina, US.
A quite revealing podcast as Anyafo tells how he was actually born in Lagos and spoke yoruba language rather fluently before he moved back east to Enugu. This was a time when Nigerian football was passionately followed across the country.
