Have a problem that 3D printing can solve? We go over the common printing pitfalls, and the process of building your idea from prototype, to finished product.

Segment Goals:

1. Find a real-world problem
2. Beg, Borrow and Steal as much as you can! (A STL model that gets us CLOSE to the solution)
3. Modify an existing STL to fit our needs
4. Fix overhangs

Tools/Supplies Needed:

1. Thingiverse
2. Tinkercad
3. Autodesk Meshmixer
4. 3D Printer
5. Ball Mason Jars (16oz)
6. Coffee Filter

Segment Procedure:

1. Search for and download a STL file for a Ball Mason Jar
2. Adapt the STL for a larger jar
3. Create a double-ended model
4. Add supports with "Meshmixer"
5. Print!
