In Agents of SHIELD S7E4, the team continues their mission to stop the Chronicoms from overtaking Earth. Coulson bluffs his way into a partnership with Agent Daniel Sousa to deliver a mysterious S.H.I.E.L.D. device to Howard Stark. While YoYo retrieves said device, Deke is abducted by HYDRA. But for reasons that are yet murky, Malick lets Deke go unharmed. Meanwhile, more HYDRA henchmen try to assassinate Sousa, who is saved by Coulson, Mack, & Daisy. Back on the Zephyr, Jemma & YoYo realize that May is now an empath. The team ultimately decides to make some waves, as they deliver the tech and preserve the timeline but fake Agent Sousa’s death. With Sousa now on the team, the Agents of SHIELD then time jump to 1973.
