Foggy takes Karen out for a night in Hell’s Kitchen as she continues to struggle with the aftermath of her near frame-job and attempted murder. While they’re drinking, Matt’s busy dying in a dumpster. He’s found by ER nurse and good Samaritan Claire Temple, who patches up the masked vigilante in her apartment. Matt was beaten after falling into a trap laid by the Russians, who are in cahoots with Union Allied. The Russians had kidnapped a young boy to lure Matt in and kill him. Matt fell for the gambit, but escaped alive. Unfortunately, the Russians tracked him back to Claire’s apartment. Matt manages to incapacitate the goon, and with Claire’s invaluable assistance, tortures him for information while Foggy & Karen enjoy their drunken revelry practically right next door. Matt rescues the boy in the most epic manner possible, and the Russians scramble to appease a very annoyed Wilson Fisk.
