Description

Wanda & Vision start living their new lives in Westview, though they can’t remember how they got there or what they were doing before. In the style of Dick Van Dyke, Episode 1 finds the couple having a classic miscommunication regarding a special occasion. Classic sitcom mayhem ensues, but we quickly see that something dark is lurking under the comic veneer. Someone or something is definitely messing with people’s minds. And the episode concludes with a person watching Wanda & Vision’s life unfold on a modern electronic console.

Shot in the style of Bewitched, Episode 2 finds Wanda and Vision preparing a magic act for a neighborhood talent show. Throughout the episode, the couple keeps hearing a loud noise as if something is crashing against their home. Wanda discovers what appears to be a toy helicopter in the bushes, and clearly starts to wonder more about her seemingly idyllic life. Wanda then encounters Dottie, who is threatening Wanda when the two hear a voice calling Wanda through the radio. Wanda is clearly rattled by this, but the radio shorts & Dottie is hurt by broken glass. Meanwhile, Vision is trying to fit in with the men of Westview. Following a little android mishap, he and Wanda are able to put on their magic act, with Vision seemingly taking major risks. New friend “Geraldine” helps everything work out in the end, but we’re left on a major cliffhanger. At the end of the episode, Wanda becomes mysteriously pregnant & the couple see a man in beekeeper’s garb climb out of a manhole cover. Wanda declines this particular development & rewinds time to avoid it. The episode ends with their world being colorized.

WandaVision kicks off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Disney+ series stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, & Randall Park.
