In this conversation we discuss:
- body image & relationships
- sex & body image
- healing body image
- why healing is more than mental
- tools & practices to help with body image issues
- ways to get out of your head during sex
- tips for partners when it comes to supporting loved ones struggling with body image
- the WORST things to say to someone who's struggling

Robyn Flores, MS, LMFT-Associate, LPC-Candidate, NCC, is a therapist providing client care in both Texas and Colorado, supervised by Heather McPherson, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S, CST. Robyn is currently a Ph.D. student working toward her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. She is part of the Sexual Health Alliance certification program, finishing her certification as a Sex Therapist and Sex Educator. In addition, she is part of the Problem Sexual Behavior (PSB) specialty certification course, learning and applying new skills to work with clients who feel shame around their sexual expression, behaviors, and practices. Robyn is partaking in extensive training for certification as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), researching, supporting honoring the individuals who find themselves creating meaning at the intersection of neurodiversity and sexuality. Her research efforts involve advocacy for erotically marginalized individuals and relational dynamics.

Robyn believes that therapy is a place for collaboration, creativity, exploration, and growth. She often views presenting concerns through Narrative, Feminist, or Relational-Cultural theoretical lenses to empower clients to challenge societal norms and to use their voices for change on macro and micro levels. She is certified as an Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy® Clinician and is HAES-informed (Health at Every Size).

Although Robyn works with various types of clients and presenting concerns, she has a heart for those who find themselves at the intersection of body image and sexual issues and works with clients to explore and regain confidence and meaning in their authentic sexuality and relationships with themselves and others.
