Dr. Sam Asthana and I discuss transitioning from being a student to practicing as a general dentist and creating a melody in our dental practices.
Sam Asthana is a general dentist who practices as an associate in the Southwest Houston area, where he’s trying to focus as a practitioner on digital dentistry and on clear aligners. Sam is a big believer in collaboration between dentists and keeping lines of communication open between colleagues, through direct friendships, and through organized dentistry. Before dentistry, Sam’s background was in classical music which he studied in his undergrad, and he tries to let a wide range of interests and hobbies help inform what kind of dentist and person he is. He was recently inducted as President-Elect for the Houston AGD and has been involved with NASA- North American Saxophone Alliance.
