Originally from Iran, Hamid Noori, did B.Sc. in Electrical Eng. in Iran, did M.Sc. in Europe, and came to Canada. He started his Ph.D. in University of Waterloo, quit, and then went to Vancouver, finalizing his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
Hamed currently runs two companies and is on the board of directors of several others. He has filed 9 US patents, has over 30 publications and also a book.
He has work and research experience in Autonomous driving and Robotic, Connected Vehicles, 5G, AI, Machine Learning, and helped launch a satellite into space to calibrate one of the most advanced radio telescope in the world (CHIME radio telescope) to map the universe, and other cutting edge research.
