Description

Dr Tracy Dennis-Tiwary is a scientist, entrepreneur and author. She is a Professor of Psychology and neuroscience, and director of the Emotion Regulation Lab at Hunter College in New York City, and co-founder and CSO of Arcade Therapeutics, where she is turning neuroscience research into gamified, clinically validated digital therapeutics for mental health. She is the author of Future Tense: Why Anxiety is Good For You (Even Though It Feels Bad). Tracy shares about choosing to play the oboe because she felt bad for it, and how she  traded it in for a life in psychology. We talk raising resilient kids, how religion can both trap us and set us free, and how anxiety can be used as a tool to live a healthier life.
