She is also the president of the administrative union in CCSD, serving to assist in a greater capacity so that educators are having their concerns heard and trying to make positive change in that area. She discusses the challenges of being the principal of a school in a difficult part of town, and how she has created a stable environment in what is now her 13th year at her location.
