The surprise was Neco Williams getting his first start at left back no less, giving Andy Robertson a much needed 45 minutes off. Aside from the scare of Brighton pulling to within one right at the half, the Reds did enough to reduce the magic number to three wins in order to beat Manchester City's 100 point record for the season.
