When Jill Devine was told Morgan Stearn is a local gal with two little ones and is helping other women make their mark in a male-dominated industry, OH and loves chips and salsa as much as Jill, it was a no brainer to invite Morgan on the podcast!
Morgan graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences, specializing in Early Childhood Development and Education. After working for almost 4 years for St. Charles County’s Parents as Teachers Program, Morgan made the move over to the family’s general contracting business, Cissell Mueller Construction, Inc. Over her short 5-year career in construction, Morgan has implemented strategies and technology that has allowed the company to grow through a team project management approach and is now overseeing a team of 3 other project assistants. In addition to working hard to build on the company’s success, Morgan is juggling the balance of maintaining a social life while raising two little ones. As a female in the male-dominated construction industry, Morgan’s goal is to represent herself and her company with strength and intelligence while working to empower other women to do the same.
