Welcome to the first episode of the Two Kids and A Career Podcast with Jill Devine!
This podcast came to fruition when Jill was on maternity leave with her oldest daughter. She was experiencing a number of emotions and feelings she wasn't prepared for and she wondered why she wasn't prepared. She had read all the books on preparing for a baby, talked to her family and friends about what to expect as a new mother, but she couldn't figure out why she felt so unprepared as a new mother.
In the "launch" episode, Jill explains how those emotions and feelings left her feeling isolated and she also discusses the exact moment she knew she had to start this podcast.
