This week’s episode is the last episode of Season 3.
Jill Devine realized she hadn’t really addressed what happened to her career. She had discussed it on social media and she even discussed it with several of her guests in Season 3, but she never talked about it on her own in an episode. Jill is best known as an on-air radio personality. She spent over 20 years in radio in the St. Louis market and on December 5, 2019, her former employer chose not to renew her contract, which ended her employment. Jill opened up about the emotional toll it took on her.
After a week of being unemployed, Jill started working with two wonderful women from Evoke Creative Co. They recognized Jill’s worth and invested in her. Jill is now an entrepreneur and small business owner thanks to Evoke Creative Co. Through their partnership, Jill Devine Media was created. Season 3 was challenging for Jill because she relaunched the podcast amid a pandemic, while working from home with two little ones. To say it’s been challenging is an understatement and she plans to discuss that in more detail in Season 4. However, Season 3 had some incredible individuals on to help with all of the hardships that happened over the last few months; pandemic, race & racism, virtual learning and so much more.
Jill is taking a two-week break and Season 4 will launch on Wednesday, September 9th. Season 4 will contain even more candid conversations with other moms, there will still be experts on to help guide and provide knowledge, and new to Season 4 – the Supermom Shoutout.
