The Bible calls a follower of Jesus Christ to forgive. Colossians 3:13 says, “…forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
Today on the Growing in Grace, we will watch how a man named Joseph forgave his brothers after they had mistreated him and sold him into slavery. If anyone had a “right” to fume about how they were treated, it was this guy! But, strangely, he chose to release revenge.
His story is given 13 chapters in the book of Genesis. There must be something that the Lord wants us to learn from this man’s example. Personally, I think it is choosing to forgive rather than fume. Tin essence, the choice is between coming better or growing bitter. In Genesis 50:15-21 Joseph became better.
