Series spoilers abound! We’re watching Season 3, Episode 15 “Tuesday the 17th” and the iconic horror movie it’s based on, “Friday the 13th”. Our first TRUE HOMAGE!!! Everything from the title sequence to the counselors’ uniforms reference the classic slasher movie. Even Shawn realizes that they are stuck in a different genre as the boys get invited to (the very Camp Crystal Lake) Camp Tiki Hama. When they get there, nothing is quite as it seems as Annie has gone missing, Jason is seemingly a different person, and everyone is acting very confused. Suddenly, Mr. Potato-Sack-Man comes out of nowhere and the boys must figure out what is going on. We’re talking about the thriller genre, divorce, and having balance.
