Description

When did you start believing your feelings were too much for other people?

In this episode of Wandering the Wild Mess, I explore the deeply human fear of feeling like a burden.

For as long as I can remember, asking for help has felt uncomfortable. Even when I knew I needed support, there was always a voice in the back of my mind telling me I was asking for too much, taking up too much space, or making things harder for someone else.

Through a personal story from my divorce and mediation process, I share the emotional complexity of reaching out for support, feeling disappointed by the response, and learning that not everyone has the capacity to meet us where we are.

Together, we'll talk about vulnerability, emotional safety, healthy relationships, and the importance of finding people who can hold space for our struggles without making us feel like we're too much.

If you've ever hesitated to ask for help, worried about being a burden, or felt alone in your hardest moments, this episode is a reminder that your needs do not make you difficult, weak, or unworthy.

They make you human.

And sometimes the bravest thing we can do is let ourselves be supported.

As always, I hope to be a little explosion of hope along your journey.
