Welcome to another episode of For our liberation.
In this episode I talk to Alice Leibowitz, founder of Conversations against fascism.
With a degree in psychology and a masters in public policy, Alice's career initially focused on facilitating groups and organisational design in the non profit sector.
However, it was Trump's first presedential term that heralded the beginning of Conversations against fascism because, simply put, that's what Alice felt she needed at the time, to be having conversations about and against fascism.
In this conversation we cover many topics but the main thread is that of how to be an effective activist in these times, which is the work that Alice now does, supporting people in creating a world in which we are all safe, valued and free.
If you're an activist or even just someone like me who feels as though you can't stand by and do nothing and yet you just don't quite know where or how to start, then I think this conversation will be really helpful. I know it was for me.
