Our first annual Emmys Week continues with costume designer Jeriana San Juan, nominated for the Halston episode, “Versailles”
In addition to designing all of the show-stopping looks, she also consulted on the series to give the fashion design elements a more authentic look and feel. In our conversation, she talks about working with Ewan McGregor and other cast members to bring this story to life, the timelessness of Elsa Peretti, how a photo inspired Halston’s style in the series, and recreating Liza Minelli’s wedding ensemble.
Jeriana is nominated in the “Outstanding Period Costumes” category at this weekend’s Creative Arts Emmys.
