Inspired by good old Aunty Beeb's decision to broadcast something something other than pasty faced chaps with guitars on BBC7, I decided this week's show would pay homage to "Black American Pop at the BBC" ( ie I watched it then played 3 of the tracks ). Don't judge me. It's hard filling 2 hours every week. As well as this, we've got the first volume of Greg Womack's remixes of legendary Disco label TK as our Album of the week & a pair of seldom heard funky hip hop classics from the mid 80s.
All told, it's not half bad.
