Tip or Trick - new chicken bites from Costco for a quick and easy snack instead of a shake or bar. Don't have a Costco membership? Just dice up some grilled chicken, or shred it and keep on hand!

After-dinner and before-bedtime snacking when not hungry can result in consuming unneeded calories.

Potential Causes

  1. You're note eating enough early in the day
  2. Stress
  3. Abnormal eating patterns/Lack of routine
  4. Boredom

Tips to overcome late night eating

  1. Evaluate what you eat in a day!  
    1. Are you eating breakfast? 
    2. Are you eating enough nourishing calories?
    3. Are you eating adequate protein?
  2. Develop a Routine/Plan
  3. De-Stress *Anxiety and stress are two of the most common reasons why people eat when they aren't hungry.
  4. Distract yourself
  5. Don’t keep junk food/temptations in the house
  6. Eat dinner later and/or schedule in a late-afternoon snack or after-dinner snack!
