John 10:1-21 In an effort to clearly communicate to the Pharisees who He is, Jesus uses a familiar (to them) illustration - sheep, their sheep pen, and shepherding. He identified Himself as the "gate" through which the shepherd enters the pen, and He referred to Himself as the "Good Shepherd."
