John 16:1-11 Pastor Mike offers us Jesus words to His first disciples that prepared them for their new life in His Kingdom as words for us to prepare us for the new year. Jesus was concerned that as the disciples started this new life (without Him but filled with His Spirit) that the hardships they were about to face might cause them to fall away. So, right before His arrest, He reminds them of all that is theirs as they begin this new life. We need to be reminded of this as well as we start a new year.
