John 16:16-33 These are the final words Jesus spoke to His disciples before His arrest and death, and even though His message to them was that He was leaving them, He encouraged them to see it as part of the plan for Him overcoming the world. This is why He left them with the words, "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
