I see this so often now in the fitness and nutrition industry and I had to address it. Tracking macros is not a diet… it is a tool to use for awareness purposes. Unfortunately, there has become a stigma around macros and tracking them because it can be considered "restrictive". For most individuals, this isn't the case (unless it becomes an obsessive tendency which has the potential to happen).
