Joshua Polk of the Pacific Legal Foundation says property rights are under attack from state and local tax authorities. They commit home equity theft by foreclosing on the tax lien amount. Governments and private companies are picking up property for pennies on the dollar. This is a flagrant violation of the federal and state constitutions.
