This week Shawn & Kenny reflect on an impactful and informative conversation they had during National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month with Emerita Verdejo, a licensed psychotherapist based out of New York & New Jersey who is the CEO and owner of Pathways to Healing & Social Justice.
With over a decade of experience in the field she gives professional answers to the tough questions that the FCP crew continually ask to get to the bottom of what can we as a community do to properly discuss, hopefully prevent and ways you can possibly assist someone in need without overstepping boundaries. They also discuss how one can become better educated about mental illness while also dissecting the many dos and do nots around the stigma of suicide.
