This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends

                        John 15:13

            I remember quoting this verse to man in marriage counseling.

                        Question:  Are you willing to lay down your life for your wife?

                        Response:  Yes, but it’s not dying for her but living with her that’s problem.   

            WE are not being called upon to loose or lives to die for each other.

            But we are called to lay down our lives to love and serve one another.

All know John 3:16 -  “For God so loved the World that he gave….

            What about 1 John 3:16

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Gal 5:13

For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another
