How do we remove the lenses?

1.     Unforgiveness: Removing the Red Lens

(John 13:21 NLT) "Now Jesus was deeply troubled, and he exclaimed, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me!"

(John 13: 26 NLT) "Jesus responded, "It is the one to whom I give the bread I dip in the bowl." And when he had dipped it, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot."

(Proverbs 30:33 NLT) "As the beating of cream yields butter and striking the nose causes bleeding, so stirring up anger causes quarrels."

(Romans 12:19)  "Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:  'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."

So what do you do?

          RELEASE

(1 Peter 1:6-7)  "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.  These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

2.  Fear: Removing the Yellow Lens

(Hebrews 12:15)  "See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."

3.  Pain: Removing the Blue Lens

(Psalm 147:3)  "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

(1 John 4:8-11)  "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

4.  Death: Removing the Black Lens

(Luke 21:34)  "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap."

(Colossians 3:8)  "But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips."

(Romans 8:6)  "The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace."

(Proverbs 11:19)  "The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death."

(Matthew 11:28) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

(Hebrews 10:23-25 MSG) "So let's do it—full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching."
