Anel is a mother to four beautiful children ranging in ages from 7 to 20 - one boy, three girls - and she began her motherhood journey at the age of 15. She is a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army serving as a Medical Services Operations Officer. and currently pursuing her Master’s of Social Work. She is also an entrepreneur who has created Bold Ascension, an organization that empowers women to live their lives authentically and boldly. She created the I am Bold, I Rise campaign - an annual calendar featuring inspiring women who have overcome adversity in their lives. She hosts quarterly events for survivors of trauma where they provide resources and guidance to healing. She is a SURVIVOR of domestic violence and lived in a toxic relationship for over ten years. She is all of these things because she has chosen to believe in herself, love herself, forgive and to make a difference in the lives of others.
