In late August the Pentagon announced a contingency plan in place for seizing Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal should President Obama order them to do so, and that the plan involves sending “small teams” of special operations forces into Syria.

Nine people were wounded and two people were killed near the Empire State Building in Midtown Manhattan on Friday after a disgruntled women's accessories designer named Jeffrey Johnson fatally shot his 41-year-old former boss, Steven Ercolino. Police shot and killed the gunman near the tourist entrance of the landmark skyscraper. The nine injured, were hit by bullets fired by NYPD.
