- Wolfgang is a researcher, author and futurist of Israeli, German and Hungarian descent. Raised in Germany, he is married to Mercy, daughter of Indian Evangelist Sadhu Chellappa.

- He is a theologian and missiologist by training, but is mostly known as a catalyst of game changing initiatives

- His goal - "to see a shopping window of God in walking distance of every person on the globe"

- In one of his major works, The Starfish Manifesto, he refers this goal of discipling more than half of the world's population to the prophetic declaration of Jesus in Mt 24:40.41 and the announcement in the book of Habakkuk that "the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God like water covers the sea".
