Description

Would you really want to live for Christ, no matter the cost?

In Philippians 3, Paul takes a practical tone as if he were an accountant summing up figures to calculate profit or loss. This ought to be a call for us to consider the type of Christian I am, and the type of Christian that I'd like to be.

The religious things that the Judaizers of Paul's day were trying to attribute their spirituality to their own performance, which is an insult to God, who gave His Son to redeem mankind to Himself.

What Paul highlights in Philippians 3 is that the mind of Christ ought to be lived out in a practical way by each Christian.
