Description

In the time of pandemic, with all the lockdowns, quarantines, and restrictions that governments have implemented all over, there's a lot of negative news. It's important that we not lose sight of the positive side of life.

In this episode, we'll look at things that we can receive from the Lord at this time and they can be a deep blessing, lifting us above the discouragement, despondency, or the reality of loneliness.. Here are the Scripture references:

1. "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 1:3
From Him comes our peace.

2. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." James 1:17-18
From Him comes every good and perfect gift.

3. "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." Luke 24:49
From Him come the power to be the person that He intends us to be.

4. "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him" Colossians 2:9-10a
From Him comes the nourishment of our souls. Everything that we need is supplied by the Lord Jesus, in whom we are complete.

5. "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe." John 1:6-7
From Him comes our authority to testify in word and deed that we belong to Him- to speak for Him and to be a witness to the truth.

6. "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:11
From Him comes our own personal joy when we abide in Him.

7. "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." 1 John 3:9-11
From Him comes the commandment that we are to love one another, and to do so in a way that we can show that the love we have for each other is real.
