Life without God can bring knowledge without satisfaction, because our capacity for knowledge is so limited. Life without God can bring pleasure, but pleasure can't satisfy because it is so extremely temporary. We can accomplish great tasks, but will not be contented because it is impossible to meet every need. Wealth doesn't satisfy because we are quickly jaded and bored if we can buy whatever we think we need.
