Season 37 of The Amazing Race debuts with 14 teams, the most ever to compete on the first leg. This is owed to the introduction of a NEW challenge structure, the "Fork in the Road," where teams are divided for the detour and the pit stop, effectively narrowing the competition to just 7 teams on each side. Who survives this cutthroat best-of-seven showdown in Hong Kong?!
We meet several gaymazing teams, including cirque du soleil supergays Brett and Mark, sapphic nurses Courtney and Jasmin, and others who flash jazz hands and sport tattoos, while having gender neutral names. Sadly, our two most mature teams end up chatting in our elimination station, Mark and Harry, and Jackye and Lauren.
