40年前的今天，Mi Amigo的离去令人感到悲伤。
在卡洛琳电台的历史上，10月是一个悲伤的周年纪念月。
1978年的10月，我们心爱的电台船Mi Amigo正在面临寒冬的境地。
因为燃料的短缺以及 Mi Amigo使用期限已长，运转糟糕，电台在十月已经停播，很多人预测我们的船只航行无法撑过明年冬天。
船上的生活对于忠诚而专注的工作人员来说是苛刻的，随着秋天转向冬天，燃料不足，他们不得不在没有暖气、没有照明、没有电视以及电台设备被冻僵的条件下生活，每天只有几个小时的时间，发电机会开启，他们才得以烹饪食物果腹。
在某一时刻，我们的船只几乎深陷困境，传奇的工程师Peter Chicago挽救了卡洛琳号。我们的电台得以生存下来，但离消亡也不远了。然而，这又是另外一个故事了。
显然，卡洛琳电台得以延续至今，我们很自豪能够保持这个伟大的梦想，让你们体验海盗电台的精神。
