"The first day of high school, Yr. 8, I was super excited and couldn’t wait. I thought people would be more mature, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! I had shoes thrown at my head and I was called “fat” as I walked down the hallway. And this continued into the rest of the year from nasty people telling me “go eat something fatty”. I couldn’t avoid any of it.
One day I just broke down, ran to a classroom that was free and just screamed. I was yelling at God, why? Why me? I thought people were meant to be nice. You said in the Bible that I was made in your own image. God, why did you make me like this?"
