"I blinked a few times and tried to swallow again. Why was my throat feeling so tight and thick? I glanced over at my friends, who were sprawled on the floor laughing, munching on chips and watching the movie.
I tried to ignore the feeling but it wasn’t going away. My vision began to blur and my throat started to constrict. Had I eaten something I was allergic to? I shook my head, no, I wasn’t allergic to anything!
Pins and needles pricked my arms and neck and my heart raced frantically. A feeling of impending doom took over and I felt nauseated.
In my panic, I bolted to the bathroom and hid myself there. My hands were shaking, and I felt like I was going to pass out. I grabbed the edge of the sink and held on."
