I feel like a failure. I too have heard all the well-meaning stories from pretty, inspirational speakers dressed in the latest fashions telling me that ‘beauty isn’t forever’ and they’ve ‘never seen a smiling face that’s not beautiful.’ I’ve had a gut full of them all. Today, the positive affirmation in my head isn’t making it to heart level."
