Casey Zabala is an artist, tarot reader, practicing witch, intuitive mystic, and the founder of Modern Witches Confluence. She is author and illustrator of both Wanderer's Tarot, a feminist tarot deck for modern witches, and Wyrd Sisters Oracle, an oracle deck for connecting with one's personal magic. With 18 years of tarot experience, Casey believes that divination is a tool for personal empowerment and healing, and hopes to empower others on their path of self-discovery.
Casey teaches mystical workshops which center on tarot and divination, and also include crystal healing, magical self-care, and principles of manifestation. Casey aims to guide individuals through their personal transformation with creativity and magic by teaching ancient tools to modern seekers, while creating community along the way.
Phoebe sits down with Casey to discuss her journey as a witch and how she's integrated her craft into her business practice. Listeners tune into her experience taking Modern Witches Confluence virtual (for now), how she's held her community accountable and taken anti-racist action during a time of necessary reckoning, and why it's important—and possible—to embrace and welcome spiritual practice within our individual approaches to business.
