Have you ever had the ‘which came first, the chicken or the egg?’ debate with someone?
If so, how did it go?
Did you arrive at an answer?
I never have.
That’s probably because I never put much mental energy into it.
I’m pretty sure science has already solved this riddle by now. I may look it up one day, but right now it’s at the end of the list of things I want to spend my time doing.
What I want to talk about in this episode of the show, is something much more exciting. Something that can make a big impact in your life in a very practical way.
That is, ‘Which came first, the feeling or the experience?’
Now, this is a debate we can sink our teeth into, right?
Why? Because the answer to this question can help us consciously create our lives and attract (or create) the experiences we want to have.
Now, isn’t that more exciting than talking about chickens and eggs?
Since you’re listening to enhancing the human experience, this is the place where we dive into questions like this.
In this episode, I talk about four ways to improve your ability to create the feeling of the experiences you want to have in life. They are:
If the [condition you desire] brought a certain amount of joy, satisfaction, and elation into your mental atmosphere, then the feeling that would be yours if you realized [this condition] would also produce that. In other words, that feeling and mental state captured in your imagination and feeling must produce the [condition you desire].” ~ Joseph Murphy
