Today, on The Goggler Podcast, Bahir and Uma watch and review the brand new action comedy starring Jack Quaid, Novocaine.
It’s the holidays in sunny San Diego, California and assistant bank manager Nathan Caine is feeling especially lonely this festive season… until he spends the night with Sherry, one of the tellers at his bank who he has long harbored a crush on. But on Christmas Eve, their bank is targeted during a heist and Sherry is taken hostage. After a lifetime of waiting for someone like Sherry to come into his life, Nate knows he needs to rescue the woman he is falling in love with from the terrible danger she faces. There’s just one problem. Nate lives with a rare genetic disorder which has always held him back. Those affected are not only unable to feel pain, but they also can’t feel whether something is hot or cold. Nate has had to live in an incredibly contained world, controlling everything he does to avoid injuring himself. But now he must find a way to embrace his condition and use it to his advantage if he is going to save Sherry. Novocaine was directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, and stars Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.
