Verses 1-2: Three types of people and face to face

1. Three types of people Paul is talking with
   a. People in Colosse who had seen and heard Paul
   b. People in Laodicea who had seen and heard Paul
   c. All who had not seen him face to face
2. We need to be engaging people when at all possible in face to face conversations

Verses 2-3: Underlying Assumptions Rags to Riches Two Categories:

1. Truth- God's universal truth 

2. Belief - Truth changes our belief; however, belief
cannot change the universal truth.

Verse 4-5: Don't Be Persuaded but you persuade them
