I. The believer in Christ is an AMBASSADOR.
A. What does this title mean?
1. A REPRESENTATIVE temporarily sent out to a FOREIGN LAND to represent the KING.
2. An OFFICIAL representative who is authorized TO SPEAK on behalf of his SENDER.
B. We are to be ambassadors for CHRIST.
C. We are to go to ALL THE WORLD.
D. We are to bring the message of SALVATION.
II. The ambassadors ministry is one of RECONCILIATION.
A. What does reconcile mean?
1. To change THOUROUGHLY.
2. To RESTORE what has been BROKEN.
B. Reconciliation: objectively and subjectively
1. Objectively: The world has been reconciled to God
2. Subjectively: The sinner has been transformed by GOD.
