Genesis 3:1-6 ; Pastor Peter Franz ; Today, we are tempted in the same way that Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan in the garden of Eden. Satan causes us to doubt God’s word and His promises and tries to make us deny and question what God is saying and has provided for us. Satan wants us to defame God and His provisions to us. But we have Jesus our Savior, who is the new Adam. Jesus was also tempted by Satan and had victory over Satan by standing on the infallible word of God.
